Day 1: Fly to Madrid

Board your transatlantic flight and fly through the night to Spain.

Day 2: Madrid

Bienvenido a España! Meet your Spanish Prometour Tour Director upon arrival at the airport.

Transfer to your hotel to drop off your luggage, check-in will be done later.

While in Madrid, travel as the locals do, by walking and taking public transportation.

With your Tour Director, discover the Puerta Del Sol, one of the best known and busiest places in Madrid; admire the buildings, people watch and look for the plaque indicating KM Zero for the roads of Spain.

Have a guided tour of El Palacio Real, the official residence of the Spanish Royal Family while in Madrid, and admire the exquisite collections.

Have an authentic Tapas Dinner at a local restaurant in Madrid.

Enter the famous Plaza Mayor, said to be one of the most elegant squares in Europe.

Day 3: Madrid

Breakfast at the hotel with your group.

A guided tour of the Museo Del Prado, will share some of the hidden secrets of this world-leading museum while admiring some of it masterpieces by a variety of artists including Goya and Velázquez.

Explore Parque El Retiro; it belonged to the Spanish Monarchy until the late 19th century and is now one of Madrid’s largest public parks.

Go behind the scene at Estadio Santiago Bernabéu; discover one of the world’s most famous and prestigious football venues on a self-guided visit.

Spend some time in the areas of Malasaña and Chueca, find the newest fashion trends of Madrid, handmade articles, and lively cafes.

Have a traditional Paella dinner at Madrid’s famous El Arrozal.

Day 4: Madrid – Seville

Breakfast at the hotel with your group.

Transfer by motor coach from your hotel to the Madrid Atocha train station, an attraction in itself.

Take the AVE high-speed train to Seville.

Transfer to your hotel for check-in.

Enjoy a guided tour of the Cathedral of Seville, the largest Gothic building in the world, and claims to contain the remains of Columbus.

Climb to the top of La Giralda, the Moorish Minaret is Seville’s most recognizable monument and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

With your Tour Director, discover Barrio Santa Cruz with its beautiful architecture and narrow streets full of charm and atmosphere, then wander over to Plaza De Espana, located at the edge of the beautiful Parque Maria Luisa, designed as the centerpiece of the 1929 Ibero-American Exposition.

Have an authentic Tapas dinner in the Santa Cruz Quarter.

Day 5: Sevilla

Breakfast at the hotel with your group.

Visit Spain’s oldest bullring; Plaza de Toros de la Real Maestranza de Cabellería and its museum.

Enjoy a guided tour of the Alcázar, the oldest European royal palace still in use and one of the best remaining examples of Mudejar architecture.

Discover the magnificent city of Sevilla at your own pace, why not explore Calle Sierpes, a pedestrian-only street lined with an assortment of shops & cafés, and look for Seville’s former prison where De Cervantes was held?

Enjoy a Flamenco Extravaganza; start with a guided tour of El Museo del Baile Flamenco, next partake in a 45-min Flamenco Dance Class, and end the visit by attending an authentic non-tourist Flamenco Show.

Day 6: Seville – Valencia

Breakfast at the hotel with your group.

Transfer by motor coach from your hotel to the train station.

Take the AVE high speed train to Valencia.

Transfer to your hotel for check-in.

While in Valencia, use the convenient & safe public transportation system.

Visit Valencia Cathedral, declared a historic and artistic landmark.

Take in the city views from El Miguelete, the 14th century, Gothic-style octagonal bell tower.

Have some time to explore the labyrinth cobbled streets of Barrio del Carmen, the ancient district of the city that grew between two city walls, Islamic and Christian.

Day 7: Valencia

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel with your group.

Get a glimpse of daily life at Mercado Central while exploring its 1,247 colorful stalls.

Explore the CAC Ciudad de las Artes y las Ciencias; the architecture of these buildings rivals their contents.

-The Science Museum has soaring platforms filled with lasers, holograms, simulators, hands-on experiments, and a “zero gravity” exhibition on space exploration.

-The eye-shaped Planetarium projects 3-D virtual voyages on its huge IMAX screen.

-At l’Oceanografic, the largest marine park in Europe, take a submarine ride through a coastal marine habitat.

Day 8: Valencia

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel with your group.

Explore the more than 80 figures saved from annual Fallas festival parades at the Fallero Museum.

At the Juan Carlos I Royal Marina, admire the architecture of the Harbour Sheds & Edificio del Reloj and walk along the Paseo Maritimo then have the remainder of the day to experience Valencia with Senora Gonzalez.

Day 9: Valencia – Fly Home
