Posada Belén is a home for young mothers and their babies. Students connect directly with residents who share their age group, offering companionship, childcare support, and a perspective on resilience that stays with them long after the visit.

Local public schools are always in need of an extra pair of hands. Students help paint classrooms, engage with local children, and experience an education system that is worlds apart from their own, a small effort that makes a real difference.
The EBAIS in Costa Rica are small clinics located within the community. They offer an alternative to having to go to a hospital for minor injuries/ailments. They are public but do not receive government financial help. They need painting, reconstruction, and general improvements. This is especially helpful for the community.
Planting trees teaches how important it is to conserve nature and recover the forests. Re-plant almond trees with a local community co-op of farmers. Over lunch, learn from the farmers their goals & achievements to help keep Costa Rica green! Make a difference, be a part of worldwide humanitarian work!

When Jack Jacob visited Peru with his school through Prométour, something stayed with him: a school, a group of kids, a soccer game, and the quiet realization that he wanted to go back. A few months later, he did, this time with his family, a bag full of soccer equipment, and his brother Jesse in tow. This is their story.
