Meknes, Volubilis and FezDay 3

DAY 3: RABAT - FEZ

  • Meknes: Stop in Meknes. Meet your local guide for a highlights tour of Meknes - characterized by its triple enclosure of Place El Hedim, Bab Khemis, and Bab Mansour, often said to be one of the most beautiful doors in Morocco.
  • Mausoleum: Enter the Mausoleum Moulay Ismail - the only mosque accessible to non-Muslims outside the Hassan II Mosque.
  • Volubilis: Go to the village of Saint de Moulay Idriss to see the Roman ruins of Volubilis, the Mauritanian capital, founded in the 3rd century BC.
