Learning Objectives

Analyze the natural geography and glacial landscape of Bavaria through a mountain hike overlooking Lake Starnberg, a panoramic alpine cruise on Germany’s fifth largest freshwater lake, and a toboggan run across green mountain pastures.

Investigate the political and historical significance of the Kehlsteinhaus (Eagle’s Nest) at Berchtesgaden – erected atop the Kehlstein Mountain by the Nazi Party – examining how mountain landscapes can be appropriated as symbols of political power.

Evaluate the engineering of the Berchtesgaden salt mines through an immersive tour dressed in miner’s clothing, examining how salt production drove the medieval economy of the Alpine region and shaped the development of Berchtesgaden.

Compare the outdoor adventure activities of Upper Bavaria – zip lines, mountain hiking, toboggan runs, and lake cruising – with the cultural and scientific attractions of Munich, examining how geography shapes both the landscape and the leisure culture of a region.

Develop physical confidence, teamwork, and outdoor skills through a scavenger hunt through Munich, a 9-pin bowling game, the Fussen Forest Discovery Center adventure paths, and the Munich Olympic Stadium soccer challenge.

We take care of everything to make trip planning easy. From organizing travel logistics and accommodations to managing registrations, payments, and documentation, our team handles all the details so you can focus on the experience.

Prométour trips are fully customizable, including your travel dates. You can choose the dates that best align with your school calendar, giving your group flexibility to coordinate extracurricular activities around the trip.

How does Prométour support our group during the trip?

With our own teams in locations such as Montréal, Paris, and Málaga, you get real people who are with your students and know the destination inside and out, not a call center just reading from a script.
