Investigate the layered historical heritage of Tarragona – the ancient Roman capital of Hispania Citerior – through a guided tour of its Roman Amphitheater, the Mercat Central, and the Cathedral, examining how Roman and medieval civilizations co-existed in a single city.

Evaluate the spiritual and artistic significance of the Santa Maria Monastery at Montserrat, examining how Catalonia’s patron saint and the mountain landscape have shaped Catalan religious identity for over a thousand years.

Compare the Modernista architecture of Antoni Gaudi at the Sagrada Familia and Park Guell with the Gothic architecture of Barcelona Cathedral, examining how Catalan architecture moved from medieval tradition to visionary innovation.
