DAY 4: BEIJING – XI’AN

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel.

Board your bus and depart for China’s best-known attraction.

Visit of Yuan Ming Yuan – an imperial garden that was constructed by the Fourth Qing Emperor Kangxi in 1707.

Transfer to the train station to board your overnight train to Xi’an.

DAY 5: XI’AN

Welcome to Xi’an, one of the four great ancient capitals of China.

Transfer to your hotel to check-in.

Briefing of the Xi’an Incident – an important turning point in Chinese modern history which took place during the Chinese Civil War.

Visit of the City Wall – learn about the ancient military system and its defense.

Enjoy a bike ride around the wall – it is the best way to explore the surrounding ancient buildings and the ancient battlefield.

Explore the Muslim Quarter – home to the 1360-year old Great Mosque of Xi’an.

Dinner at a local restaurant.

DAY 6: XI’AN – SHANGHAI

Breakfast at the hotel.

Visit of the Terracotta Army – a form of funerary art buried with the First Emperor of Qin, dating from 210 B.C.

Transfer to the airport.

Board your flight from Xi’an to Shanghai.

DAY 7: SHANGHAI

DAY 8: SHANGHAI

Visit of the Yuyuan Garden – a classical garden in downtown Shanghai, with a history of over 400 years.

Transfer to The Bund, a waterfront area in central Shanghai.

Experience the Open House Shikumen Museum – a chance to cherish the memories of Old Shanghai and recall past events.

Visit of Xintiandi – where was held the first national congress of the Communist Party of China.

Dinner at your leisure.

Overnight accommodation in Shanghai.

DAY 9: NANKING

Breakfast at the hotel.

Board a high-speed train to Nanking.

Visit of the Memorial Hall – in honor of the victims of the Nanking Massacre.

Visit the Mausoleum of Dr. Sun Yat-Sen, the father of the Republic of China.

Visit of the Old Presidential Palace.

Return to Shanghai.

Farewell dinner at a local restaurant.

Overnight accommodation in Shanghai.

DAY 10: FLY BACK HOME

Breakfast at the hotel.

Transfer to the airport.
