DAY 1: HOME – ITALY

Board your transatlantic flight and fly through the night to Italy.

DAY 2: MILAN

Benvenuti in Italia! Meet your Prométour Tour Director upon arrival at the airport.

Transfer to your hotel to drop off your luggage.

Follow a local guide on a walking tour of Milan- see the city’s main sight, such as the Duomo.

Dinner with your group at a local restaurant.

Overnight accommodation in Milan.

DAY 3: MILAN – FLORENCE

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel with your group.

Enter the Church of Santa Maria delle Grazie, where Leonardo da Vinci painted ‘The Last Supper’ – his most famous and largest work.

Stop at Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, historic shopping at its finest; dating from 1867 it is considered the oldest shopping mall in the world and is where Prada opened its first store in 1913.

Enjoy lunch on your own.

Transfer to the Train Station.

Board your FRECCE train to Florence.

Transfer to your hotel for check-in.

Stop at the Belvedere to admire the view of Florence.

Dinner with your group at a local restaurant.

DAY 4: FLORENCE

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel with your group.

Meet your local guide for a walking tour of Florence; you’ll see the Duomo, the bronze doors of The Baptistry and Santa Croce Basilica where some of the most illustrious Italians are buried; Michelangelo, Galileo, Machiavelli, and Rossini to name a few.

Then enter the Accademia and admire Michelangelo’s David and some of the most famous works of art and masterpieces that have marked mankind’s artistic innovation through the centuries.

Enjoy lunch on your own.

Continue your tour by visiting the Uffizi Gallery, an incredible museum with over 60 halls full of impressive and stunning works of art from the 12th century up to the 16th century.

Spend some time exploring the town at your own pace.

Dinner with your group at a local restaurant.

DAY 5: FLORENCE – SIENA

Breakfast at the hotel with your group.

Board your bus and travel to Siena.

Meet a local guide for a walking tour of the historic centre of Siena, including the shell shaped Piazza del Campo and the Cathedral.

Enjoy lunch on your own.

Discover at your own pace the Pinacoteca Nazionale di Siena, a museum that houses late medieval and Renaissance paintings from Italian artists.

Have some leisure time to explore Siena with its narrow streets and Cafés.

Dinner with your group in a local restaurant.

DAY 6: SIENA – ROME

Breakfast at the hotel with your group.

Board your bus and travel to Rome.

Enjoy lunch on your own.

While in Rome, travel as the locals do by walking, or taking public transport.

Visit the Galleria Borghese with its ground floor containing sculptures and the upper floor holding collected paintings.

Explore the Borghese Park by bike; it is Rome’s large central park with leafy avenues, Roman ruins, as well as a lake and zoological garden.

Dinner with your group at a local restaurant.

Make a wish as you toss a coin in the Trevi Fountain, legend says it will one day bring you back to Rome.

Overnight accommodation in Rome.

DAY 7: ROME

Breakfast at the hotel with your group.

With a local guide, visit St. Peter’s Basilica and the Vatican Museum including the Raphael Rooms, Tapestry Gallery & Sistine Chapel. Then have time to discover St. Peter’s Square.

Enjoy lunch on your own.

With your Prométour Tour Director, explore the Trastevere Neighborhood; it is a funky, bohemian area that clings to its centuries-old, working-class roots. It’s known for traditional and innovative trattorias, craft beer pubs and artisan shops.
