DAY 1: HOME – ITALY

Board your transatlantic flight and fly through the night to Italy.

DAY 2: ROME

Benvenuti in Italia! Meet your Prométour Tour Director upon arrival at the airport.

Transfer to the hotel to drop off your luggage.

Use public transportation while in Rome.

Stroll around Rome; see the Trevi Fountain, the Pantheon, the Piazza Navona and the Campo de Fiori.

Enjoy a tasty treat – Italian Gelato!

Dinner with your group at a local restaurant.

Overnight accommodation in Rome.

DAY 3: ROME

Breakfast at the hotel with your group.

Explore the most monumental elements of Rome with your local guide; visit the Colosseum, where gladiators once battled, the Roman Imperial Forum with focus on Roman mythology and a walk through the Roman Forum ending at Palatine Hill.

Lunch on your own.

With a local guide, learn about the Roman ingenuity behind the construction of Aqueducts! Aquedoctto Alexandrina was a 22.4 Km long aqueduct built in AD 226 and it supplied up to 320,000 cubic meters of water per day! You’ll be able to see the longest remain of the structure in the neighborhood of Centocelle in Rome.

Dinner with your group at a local restaurant.

Overnight accommodation in Rome.

DAY 4: ROME – SORRENTO

Breakfast at the hotel with your group.

Transfer by motor coach from your hotel to the train station.

Take a train to Naples.

Board your bus and continue to the city center.

Discover Naples with your director; see the Old City & Basilica, interact with street & market vendors, and walk along Via Toledo.

Lunch on your own.

Discover the Baiae Archeological Park – look for the Statue of Hermes, the Temple or Venus and the Temple of Diana.

Continue to Sorrento.

Dinner with your group in a local restaurant.

Overnight accommodation in Sorrento.

DAY 5: SORRENTO

Breakfast at the hotel with your group.

This morning, visit the Parco Nazionale del Vesuvio, hike Mount Vesuvius with a Park Guide, a truly unique experience. Reach the top and see the crater close up.

Lunch on your own.

Spend the afternoon at the City of Sciences located in the district of Bagnoli, Naples. It has different section to visit, such as the Human Body Museum, a Planetarium, a Bug House and a Sea Exhibition.

Dinner with your group at a local restaurant.

Overnight accommodation in Sorrento.

DAY 6: SORRENTO

Breakfast at the hotel with your group.

Enjoy a guided visit of a family-owned mozzarella cheese factory. Learn about the science behind the process of making the delicious mozzarella cheese of Campania – considered to be the best in the world!

Stroll around Sorrento; see the cafe-lined square of Piazza Tasso, the narrow alleys of the historic center and admire the magnificent view of the Bay of Naples from the Villa Comunale.

Lunch on your own.

Take an elevator down to reach the entrance of Grotta Della Smeraldo, then take a small boat to navigate through this beautiful wonder and its emerald glow!

Return to Sorrento and enjoy some leisure time.

Dinner with your group at a local restaurant.

Overnight accommodation in Sorrento.

DAY 7: SORRENTO – ROME

Breakfast at the hotel with your group.

Transfer to the Naples train station.

Board your FRECCE train to Rome.

Transfer to your hotel.

Lunch on your own.

This afternoon, go to Castel San Angelo and learn about the engineering behind this impressive fortress that has been guarding over the Tiber river for almost two thousand years.

Enjoy the evening atmosphere of Piazza Navona.

Dinner with your group at a local restaurant.

Overnight accommodation in Rome.

DAY 8: ROME – HOME

Breakfast at the hotel with your group.

Transfer to the airport.

Say Arrivederci to your Prométour Tour Director.

Board your transatlantic flight from Rome and fly back home.
