Day 4: Epernay

Board your motor coach and travel to Epernay, the self-proclaimed capitale du Champagne

Walk along the Avenue de Champagne, perhaps one of the richest streets in the world, it’s where you’ll find the grand champagne houses, many with remarkable caves below the buildings, as well as the most impressive homes and chateaux in Epernay

Visit the world-renowned champagne cellars of Moët et Chandon; with the longest maze of underground tunnels, almost 30 kilometres and up to 30 metres underground, the steady temperatures and humidity are key to storing champagne and the secondary fermentation process, which is what gives Champagne its fizz. Your tour includes a tasting of the Grand Vintage 2012 and Grand Vintage Rosé 2012, accompanied by a selection of sweet and savoury appetizers
