DAY 3: MALAGA

Board your motor coach for a half day in Malaga
Discover Historical Malaga, the Alcazaba and Gibralfaro. The Alcazaba is a palatial fortification in the city center of Malaga. It was built by the Hammudid dynasty in the early 11th century and is the best-preserved Alcazaba in Spain. Then visit the partially excavated Roman Amphitheater.

DAY 4: MALAGA – NERJA

Board your motor coach and travel to Nerja

DAY 5: MALAGA – TANGIER

Board your motor coach and travel to Tarifa
Say a fond Hasta Luego to your Spanish Prométour Tour Director and continue on with your trip.
Take a high-speed ferry to Morocco where you’ll arrive in Tangiers, an ancient Phoenician town, founded by Carthaginian colonists in the early 5th century BC.
Meet your Moroccan Prométour Tour Director upon your arrival at the Ferry Terminal
Board your motor coach and transfer to your hotel to drop off your luggage
Enjoy lunch with your group
Discover Tangier’s Medina. Then, from the little Socco, bordered by cafes and old hotels, you will go back up to the Grand Socco. Stop in front of the great mosque that Sultan Moulay Ismail had built at the end of the XVII century on the ruins of an old Portuguese Cathedral. Then, visit the Kasbah located at the highest point of the city. Continue to the Bab el-Raha gate which gives access to a large terrace overlooking the Atlantic and offers a view to the Spanish coast on the other side of the Strait of Gibraltar

DAY 6: TANGIER – CHEFCHAOUEN

Board your motor coach and begin the journey to Chefchaouen
On your way, stop at the Akchour Waterfalls. Hike up to the falls and swim in the beautiful water.
Enjoy lunch with your group.
Continue to the beautiful city of Chefchaouen and participate in a walking tour of the Blue City. City highlights include the Medina, the Mohammed V Square, City Hall, and the Great Mosque.

DAY 7: CHEFCHAOUEN TO FEZ

Discover Fes El Bali, the oldest part of Fez, with a local guide. Listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site as the Medina of Fez, some of the historical sights include: the Medersa al-Attarine, the Nejjarine fountain, and the exterior of the Karaouine Mosque, the oldest Koranic university in the world.

DAY 8: FEZ

Admire the wealth of Fassi craftsmanship as you explore the different districts of the souks of the Medina.
Spend some time in El Jedid (New Fez), which is primarily occupied by the Royal Palace, once the center of government in Morocco and still used on occasion by the King of Morocco today. The district also contains the historic Mellah (Jewish quarter) of the city.

Stop at Borj Nord for a beautiful panoramic view of the Medina.

DAY 9: FEZ TO MARRAKESH
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel with your group and Prométour Tour Director.
Board your motor coach and start the journey from to Marrakesh.
On your way stop in Meknes. Meet your local guide for a highlights tour of the city of Meknes, characterized by its triple enclosure of Place El Hedim, Bab Khémis, and Bab Mansour, often said to be one of the most beautiful doors in Morocco.
Enter the Mausoleum Moulay Ismaïl, the only mosque accessible to non-Muslims outside the Hassan II Mosque. (donation required to enter)
Enjoy lunch with your group
Go to the village of Saint de Moulay Idriss to see the Roman ruins of Volubilis, the Mauritanian capital, founded in the 3rd century B.C. (photo stop)
Board your motor coach and continue to Marrakesh.

DAY 10:
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel with your group and Prométour Tour Director.
Meet your local guide for a morning of Marrakesh highlights.
See the Menara Gardens, a historic public garden and orchard. Established in the 12th century during the rule of the Almohad dynasty, the gardens are listed as UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Enter the Bahia Palace, a 19th century building consisting of rooms decorated with stunning stuccos, paintings and mosaics. It has been a royal residence, home for the French Resident General, and now a popular tourist attraction.
Enjoy lunch with your group.
With your Tour Director see the exterior of the Koutoubia Mosque, and take in the high-energy of Djemâa El Fna, Marrakesh’s main square where the halqa (street theater) has been non-stop here since the 11th century.
(Koutoubia Mosque is not accessible to non-Muslims and is strictly for prayer).

DAY 11: MARAKKESH TO CASABLANCA

Enter the impressive Hassan II Mosque. It is the largest active mosque in Africa being able to hold 105,000 worshippers – 25,000 inside, the rest on the outside courtyards (subject to availability, non guided)
