Day 1: Travel To Rome, Italy

Day 2: Rome

Have a guided tour of the Rome Coliseum, originally used for gladiatorial contests and public spectacles; your ticket also includes access to the Roman Forum and Palatine.

Day 3: Rome

Breakfast at the hotel.

With a local guide, visit St. Peter’s Basilica and the Vatican Museum including the Raphael Rooms, Tapestry Gallery & Sistine Chapel, then have time to discover St-Peter’s Square at your own pace.

Day 4: Ascoli Piceno

Breakfast at the hotel.

Travel to Ascoli Piceno; in the Middle Ages Ascoli Piceno was home to more than two hundred towers, today about fifty can still be seen.

Join your Prométour Tour Director for a highlights walk of Ascoli Piceno including Piazza del Popolo (Square of the People), considered to be one of the most beautiful in Italy.

Day 5: Assisi

Day 6: Perugia & San Gimignano

Board your motor coach and travel to Perugia, a notable artistic center.

Board your motor coach and continue on to San Gimignano, in the heart of Tuscany.

Day 7: Siena

Breakfast at the hotel.

Visit the family owned and operated Fattoria Poggio Alloro, an organic farm that raises Chianina cattle, grows numerous grains, has a vineyard, and an olive tree grove.  Partake in an Olive Grove & Vineyard tour, then sample local Tuscan dishes with a meal made from the products of the farm and of course, paired with wine.

Board your motor coach and travel to Siena. 

Have a guided tour of Siena Cathedral; built in the form of a Latin cross with its exterior and interior decorated in white and greenish-black marble stripes, black and white being the symbolic colors of Siena.

Have some leisure time to explore Siena’s historic center, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, with its narrow streets & shell shaped Piazza del Campo.

Day 8: Orvieto & Rome
