DAY 2: FRANKFURT – STUTTGART

Welcome to Germany! Meet your Prométour Tour Director upon arrival at the Frankfurt airport.

Board your bus and travel to Stuttgart.

At the Technik Museum, embark on a journey through time and discover the milestones of technical history: What is the cubic capacity of the Brutus experimental vehicle? Who has really got the edge? The Tupolev or the Concorde? In addition to that, admire an impressive collection of vintage cars!

Dinner at a local restaurant.

DAY 3: STUTTGART – BLACK FOREST AREA

Breakfast at the hotel.

Enter the Mercedes-Benz Museum – it celebrates the automobile invented by Carl Benz in 1886: it relates its history and tells its stories, bringing both alive by placing them in the context of technology, day-to-day life, social history and popular culture.

Have some time to explore Stuttgart at your own pace – Make sure to explore Schlossplatz!

Board your bus and travel to the Black Forest Area.

DAY 4: BLACK FOREST AREA

Breakfast at the hotel.

Board your bus and travel to Freiburg.

With its ambitious environmental policy as well as a political and civic commitment to renewable energy sources, Freiburg is a Green City. Tour the city with a local guide and learn about its ecological, technical and organizations solutions.

DAY 5: BLACK FOREST AREA – LAKE CONSTANCE AREA

Breakfast at the hotel.

On the ”Sauschwanzlebahn”, an historic steam train, experience nostalgic flair surrounded by natural beauty. The route runs for 25 km, with four bridges and six tunnels – and back again. The road is lined with great views into the valleys of the Black Forest.

Board your bus and travel to Lake Constance.

Enjoy lunch on your own.

The lake dwelling settlements are part of the UNESCO World Heritage. Rediscover the sunken village of Unteruhldingen and everyday life in the Stone and Bronze Age!

DAY 6: LAKE CONSTANCE AREA

Breakfast at the hotel.

Board your bus and travel to Verenafohren.

At the Verenafohren Energy Complex take part in a guided tour of the Wind Power Plant – It produces around 20 million kWh of electricity per year, enough for about 20,000 people located in the area.

Enjoy lunch on your own.

Board your bus and travel to Friedrichshafen.

Guided visit the Zeppelin Museum – The permanent exhibition vividly illustrates, for example, the “lighter than air” principle of flight and makes it tangible through experimentation stations.

DAY 7: LAKE CONSTANCE AREA – MUNICH

Breakfast at the hotel.

Board your bus and travel to Munich, capital of Bavaria.

Enjoy lunch on your own.

Visit the BMW Museum, located near the Olympia park. It showcases the history of the BMW company, its brand, and its products.

Enjoy some leisure time to explore Munich at your own pace.

Dinner with your group at a local restaurant.

DAY 8: MUNICH – KOCHEL – MUNICH

Breakfast at the hotel.

Join a local guide on a walk through Atles Munchen – see Marienplatz with its glockenspiel, Briennerstrasse to Odeon Square.

Enjoy lunch on your own.

Board your bus and travel to Kochel.

Partake in a guided visit of the Kochel Hydroelectric Plant – it is considered as the cradle of industrial power in Bavaria and with a production of 300 million kilowatt hours, it is one of the largest high-pressure storage power plants in Germany.

Return to Munich.

Dinner with your group at a local restaurant.

DAY 9: FLY BACK HOME

Transfer to the airport.
