DAY 1: HOME – PARIS 

Board your transatlantic flight and fly through the night to France.

DAY 2: PARIS 

Bienvenue en France! Meet your French Prométour Director upon arrival.

Walk by Place de la Concorde, stroll along the Champs Elysées -considered the most beautiful avenue in the world.

Reach the Arc de Triomphe, wherein lies the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier.

Admire the architecture of Paris from the Seine aboard a Bateau Mouche.

Dinner at a local restaurant.

Overnight accommodation in Paris.

DAY 3: PARIS 

Breakfast at the hotel.

At Musée d’Orsay, which was originally a railway station, explore the collection of French art from the 19th and 20th Century.

Walk through the Quartier Latin – see the Luxembourg Gardens, the Pantheon and the Sorbonne University to name a few.

Lunch on your own.

Stop at Maison Berthillon to taste their famous gourmet ice cream.

Discover Ile de la Cité – see the Conciergerie and the Sainte-Chapelle.

Dinner at a local restaurant.

DAY 4: PARIS – AMIENS 

Breakfast at the hotel.

Travel to Vimy.

Guided visit of the WWI Memorial at Vimy Ridge -Walk through the reconstructed trenches of the battlefield.

Lunch on your own.

Stop at the Newfoundland Memorial in Beaumont-Hamel – a lasting tribute to all Newfoundlanders who served during WWI.

Travel to Amiens.

Have dinner with your group in a local restaurant.

Overnight accommodation in Amiens.

DAY 5: AMIENS – CAEN 

Breakfast at the hotel.

Board your bus and travel to Étrétat.

Admire the Étretat White Chalk Cliffs – It is the last location of the 1927 ”White Bird” biplane, which attempted to do the first non-stop transatlantic flight.

Enjoy lunch on your own.

Continue to Honfleur.

Walk along the picturesque Vieux Bassin in the lovely town of Honfleur.

Visit the Maritime Museum – learn about the fascinating story of explorers such as Samuel de Champlain, who left for Canada from Honfleur.

Dinner at a local restaurant.

Overnight accommodation in Caen.

DAY 6: CAEN

Breakfast at the hotel.

Enter the D-Day Landing Museum – the first museum to be built in commemoration of June 6th, 1944 and the Normandy Campaign.

Step on the D-Day Beaches – the landing site for the invasion and liberation of Europe during World War II.

Lunch on your own.

Visit the Juno Beach Center – The center is dedicated to the 45,000 Canadians who lost their lives during WWII.

Stop by the Canadian War Cemetery – lay a wreath of flowers to honor the soldier of the WWII Battle of Normandy.

Dinner at a local restaurant.

Overnight accommodation in Caen.

DAY 7: CAEN – SAINT-MALO 

Breakfast at the hotel.

Visit the Mémorial de Caen – it commemorates the Second World War and the Battle for Caen.

Explore Caen at your own pace – the city is known for its historical buildings built during the reign of William the Conqueror.

Lunch on your own.

Explore the 16th century Abbey of Mont Saint-Michel – It is a UNESCO Heritage site since 1979.

Dinner with your group.

Overnight accommodation in Saint-Malo.

DAY 8: SAINT-MALO – PARIS 

Breakfast at the hotel.

Follow a local guide on a walking tour of St-Malo – See the Fort National, St-Vincent Cathedral and walk on the beach where Jacques Cartier sailed from when he discovered Canada!

Lunch on your own.

Board your bus and return to Paris.

Dinner at a local restaurant.

Get a bird’s eye view of Paris from the observation platforms of the Eiffel Tower.

Overnight accommodation in Paris.

DAY 9: PARIS – HOME

Transfer to the airport.
