DAY 2: LONDON

Welcome to the United Kingdom! Meet your Prométour Tour Director upon arrival at the airport.

Board your bus and transfer to your hotel. While doing so, enjoy a panoramic tour of London; See many sights such as Hyde Park, Piccadilly Circus, Tower Bridge, Tower of London, Trafalgar Square, Big Ben and the Houses of Parliament.

While in London, travel as the locals do, by walking or taking public transportation.

DAY 3: LONDON

Breakfast at the hotel.

Discover the story of the First World War through the lives of those who experienced it both on the front line and the home front with a visit to the Churchill War Rooms Museum.

Enjoy lunch on your own.

Visit the London’s Imperial War Museum – The museum offers wonderful exhibits on Commonwealth military exploits from the First World War to the present day.

Spend time in Piccadilly Circus, the Times Square of London.

DAY 4: LONDON

Breakfast at the hotel with your group.

Visit the HMS Belfast’s nine decks to discover the stories of life on board this warship during Arctic convoys, D-Day and beyond. Venture into the Interactive Operations Room and immerse yourself in the midst of a battle.

Enjoy a cruise on the River Thames from Westminster to Greenwich, and enjoy panoramic views of London Bridge, the Tower of London, The London Eye, The iconic Shard building, Canary Wharf, and much more.

Learn about London at War during WWII – More specifically about two neighborhoods that were hit during the Blitz – Greenwich and Blackheath.

Board the boat back and return to central London.

DAY 5: EXCURSION TO PORTSMOUTH

Breakfast at the hotel.

Travel to Portsmouth.

Immerse yourself in Royal Navy history as you visit incredible museums and legendary ships at the Portsmouth Historic Dockyard.

Enjoy lunch on your own.

Explore the D-Day Museum; it was established in 1984 to tell the story of Operation Overlord from its origins in the dark days of 1940 to victory in Normandy in 1944.

Board your motor coach and return to London.

DAY 6: LONDON – LIVERPOOL

Breakfast at the hotel.

Board your bus and travel to Milton Keynes.

Bletchley Park is the home of British code-breaking and a birthplace of modern information technology. It played a major role in World War Two, producing secret intelligence which had a direct and profound influence on the outcome of the conflict. Partake in a guided about the Woman of Bletchley Park – they constituted roughly 75% of the workforce. They played a significant role in the impact on the history of science and technology.

DAY 7: LIVERPOOL

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel.

Follow a local guide and lean how Liverpool experience World War II and survived the Blitz, a German bombing campaign against Britain in 1940 and 1941, during the Second World War.

Enter the Museum – it reflects the city’s global significance through its unique geography, history and culture.

Enjoy lunch on your own.

See Liverpool’s most iconic sights aboard the world-famous Mersey Ferry. During this 50-minute River Explorer Cruise, take in the best views along the riverside.
