DAY 1: HOME – COSTA RICA

Board your flight from New York and fly to Costa Rica.

Bienvenidos a Costa Rica! Meet your Prométour Tour Director upon arrival at the airport.

Transfer to your hotel for check-in.

Enjoy some leisure time at the Rancho; there is a pool, a volleyball and you can play soccer.

Dinner and overnight accommodation at El Rancho Lodge.

DAY 2: LA GUACIMA – SARAPIQUI

Breakfast at the hotel.

Board your bus and head out to Sarapiqui to visit the Tirimbina Rainforest Center. Partake in a guided walking tour through the Costa Rican rain forest to learn about the vegetation and the animals that inhabit it.

Lunch with your group in a local restaurant.

People, communities, businesses and industries as well as governments from all countries are encouraged to add tree planting pledges online with the objective of planting at least one billion trees worldwide each year. Be part of it! Partake in a Reforestation Program. with your group.

Dinner and overnight accommodation in Sarapiqui.

DAY 3: SARAPIQUI – ARENAL

Breakfast at the hotel.

Visit La Selva Biological Station a leading research center for Costa Rican ecology; With a local expert, explore trails through some of Costa Rica’s most immaculate primary tropical rain forest.

Lunch with your group in a local restaurant.

At Danaus Ecocenter you will find a Botanical Garden with more than 600 species of plants, a butterfly garden with more than 40 species and areas dedicated to the exhibition of medicinal plants.

Dinner and overnight accommodation in Arenal.

DAY 4: ARENAL

Breakfast at the hotel.

Take the road to Arenal for to participate in a Sloth Tour, it will bring you up close and personal with some of Costa Rica’s most-adorable species.

Lunch with your group in a local restaurant.

Enjoy the Arenal Hanging Bridges Tour. The tour consists of 3 miles of trails designed for easy access, crossing 15 bridges with lengths ranging from 5 to 100 meters.

Dinner and overnight accommodation in Arenal.

DAY 5: ARENAL – MONTEVERDE

Breakfast at the hotel.

Board your bus to Monteverde.

Visit the Ranario of Monteverde. This Frog Pond is committed to educating its visitors on both the beauty and bounty of frogs, as well as the threats they currently face around the world.

Lunch with your group in a local restaurant.

Take a walk through a cloud forest in Monteverde’s Santa Elena Reserve. it reveals a lush garden of mosses.

Dinner and overnight accommodation in Monteverde.

DAY 6: MONTEVERDE – LA GUACIMA

Breakfast at the hotel.

Monteverde Cloud Forest is a large reserve and one of the most outstanding wildlife sanctuaries in the Americas and it includes eight distinct ecological zones. It protects more than 400 species of birds and over 100 species of mammals.

Lunch with your group in a local restaurant.

Board your bus and return to La Guacima.

Dinner and overnight accommodation at El Rancho Lodge.

DAY 7: LA GUACIMA – HOME

Breakfast at the hotel.

Transfer by bus to the airport.

Say Hasta Luego to your Prométour Tour Director.

Board your flight from San Jose and fly back home.
