DAY 1: HOME – GERMANY
Board your transatlantic flight and fly through the night to Germany.
DAY 2: BERLIN
Welcome to Germany! Meet your Prométour Tour Director upon arrival at the airport.
Transfer by bus to your hotel to drop off your luggage.
Visit the Topography of Terror – More than one million people visited the in 2014, making it one of the most frequently visited places of remembrance in Berlin. During the “Third Reich” the headquarters of the Secret State Police, the SS and the Reich Security Main Office were located at the site.

DAY 3: BERLIN
Breakfast at the hotel with your group
Join your local guide for a tour of Berlin’s main sites – Brandenburg Gate, the Reichstag Building, Potsdam Square, the Holocaust Memorial, the East Side Gallery, and of course the Berlin Wall.
Spend some time to explore the capital of Germany at your own pace! Enjoy the Tiergarten, Berlin’s main city park!
Enjoy lunch on your own.
Enter the Museum at the Kulturbrauerei – a contemporary German history museum. The permanent exhibition focuses on everyday life in the German Democratic Republic.
Dinner with your group in a local restaurant.

DAY 4: BERLIN – POTSDAM
Breakfast at the hotel with your group.
Board your bus and travel to Potsdam.
Enter the House of the Wannsee Conference – In 1942, leading figures in the Nazi government and SS meet here to discuss their so-called Final Solution to the Jewish Question. The exhibition in the House of the Wannsee Conference gives an insight into this criminal meeting, and how the plan was put into practice.
Cross Gliencke Bridge – it was used for the exchange of captured spies and became known as the Bridge of Spies.
Enjoy lunch on your own.
Enjoy some leisure time to see Potsdam at your own pace. Wander through “Alter Markt”, the Old Market Square.
Guided visit of Cecilienhof Castle – Where the leaders of the Soviet Union, the United Kingdom and the United-States met in 1945 during the Potsdam Conference.

DAY 5: POTSDAM – HELMSTEDT – WEIMAR
Breakfast at the hotel with your group.
Board your bus and travel to Helmstedt.
Visit the former border checkpoint Helmstedt-Marienpoint – which was the largest and most important crossing of the inner border during the division of Germany. While exploring the exhibition you’ll see the Commander Tower, exchange booth and much more. Meet with contemporary witnesses to get to know their experience with border crossing.
Continue to Weimar.

DAY 6: WEIMAR
Breakfast at the hotel with your group.
Visit the Buchenwald Memorial and Site – the former Nazi Concentration Camp was liberated by the United States Army in April 1945.
Lunch on your own.
Explore the city of Weimar at your own pace, make sure to spend some time at the Market Square!
Along with a local guide, learn about the city of Erfurt – See the most famous tourist attraction; the Kramerbrucke or Merchant Bridge. You’ll also see the Fish Market, the Cathedral Square, the Deer Garden and more!
Have dinner with your group at a local restaurant.
Overnight accommodation in Weimar.
DAY 7: WEIMAR – RASDORF – FRANKFURT
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel with your group.
Board your bus and travel to Rasdorf.
Partake in a guided tour of Point Alpha Observation Post – Where a small band of U.S. Army soldiers would keep watch across a tall wire fence that was a part of the Iron Curtain.
Enjoy lunch on your own.
Continue on to Frankfurt, known for its futuristic skyline and the busiest German airport.
Spend some time exploring the city of Frankfurt at your own pace and picking up any souvenirs.
Dinner with your group at a local restaurant.
Overnight accommodation in Frankfurt.
DAY 8: FRANKFURT – HOME
Breakfast at the hotel with your group.
Transfer to the airport.
