DAY 1: HOME – GERMANY

Board your transatlantic flight and fly through the night to Germany.

DAY 2: BERLIN

Welcome to Germany! Meet your Prométour Tour Director upon arrival at the airport.

Transfer by private motor coach to your hotel to drop off your luggage.

Join a local guide for a walking tour of Berlin’s main sites; Brandenburg Gate, the Reichstag Building, Potsdam Square, the Holocaust Memorial and East Side Gallery.

Dinner with your group at a local restaurant.

Overnight accommodation in Berlin.

DAY 3: BERLIN – DRESDEN

Breakfast at the hotel with your group.

Board your bus and travel to Dresden.

Tour the Volkswagen Transparent Factory; Organized into five themed areas, the new Volkswagen exhibition is all about the future of driving.

Enjoy lunch on your own.

Go to the Volkswagen Campus, learn about the future of mobility, theoretical techniques used in building e-car and then get to make your own small version of an E-Car!

Dinner with your group at local restaurant.

Overnight accommodation in Dresden.

DAY 4: DRESDEN – LEIPZIG

Breakfast at the hotel with your group.

Board your bus and travel Leipzig.

Partake in a guided tour of the Porsche Factory in Leipzig – Accompany the Panamera and Macan on their way through the manufacturing process. From cycle to cycle, a highly-demanding interplay between man and machine.

Enjoy lunch on your own.

Tour a waste disposal site near Leipzig which is part of a project for sustainable development in the region. See the dump and learn about the types of waste and how they recycle or dispose of it. Finally see the installations where they compost.

Dinner with your group at a local restaurant.

DAY 5: LEIPZIG – BREMEN

Breakfast at the hotel with your group.

Board your bus and travel to Bremen.

Enjoy lunch on your own.

Experience space travel at close hand! Bremen is one of Europe’s leading centers for space travel. The European contribution to the International Space Station (ISS), for example, was assembled at Airbus in. The ISS is in orbit some 400 kilometers above Earth, so delivering supplies is a real challenge for engineers. How does water and food get to the astronauts? How do people live, sleep, and carry out research in zero gravity? Answers to these and other questions are provided in a replica of the Columbus module.

Have some time to explore the city of Bremen at your own pace, explore the old town and the market square.

DAY 6: BREMEN

Breakfast at the hotel with your group.

Tour the city of Bremerhaven with a local guide and learn that the city is a center for offshore wind energy. From the lookout platform, your guide will tell you all about the harbor infrastructure, installations ships and facts about offshore-wind energy!

Enjoy lunch on your own.

The Klimahaus Bremerhaven shows a unique world of weather, climate and climate-change knowledge and experience. Travel the world along the eighth longitude and experience the earth’s climate zones close up, you will cross five continents and nine locations. Meet people from around the world who will talk about their everyday lives and describe how the climate affects them.

DAY 7: BREMEN – BERLIN

Breakfast at the hotel with your group.

Board your bus and return to Berlin.

Enjoy lunch on your own.

Spend some time to explore the capital of Germany at your own pace! Enjoy the Tiergarten, Berlin’s main city park!

Have dinner with your group at a local restaurant.

Overnight accommodation in Berlin.

DAY 8: BERLIN – HOME

Breakfast at the hotel with your group.

Transfer to the airport.
