Day 1: Fly to Paris
Board your transatlantic flight from New York and fly through the night to France
Day 2: Paris
Bienvenue en France! Meet your French Prometour Tour Director upon arrival at the airport.
Transfer to your hotel to drop off your luggage, check-in will be later.
While in Paris, travel as the locals do by walking or taking public transportation.
Discover Cathédrale Notre-Dame de Paris and admire its rose window & French Gothic architecture, it’s as impressive inside as it is outside.
Walk through the Quartier Latin and see the Luxembourg Gardens, the Pantheon, the Sorbonne University and Eglise St-Sulpice.
Have dinner with your group in a local restaurant.

Day 3: Paris

Day 5: Paris

Have a guided visit of Musée d’Orsay which was originally a railway station, and discover a collection of French art from the 19th and 20th centuries that includes paintings, sculptures, furniture, and literature.
Explore Paris with your Prometour Tour Director; see Place de la Concorde, stroll along the Champs-Elysees, considered the most beautiful avenue in the world, and admire several French monuments including the Arc de Triomphe wherein lies the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier.
Have lunch on your own.
Partake in a hands-on lesson in the art of making Macarons, an elegant and colorful French pastry.
Discover Quartier Montmartre, known as “la Butte” and make sure to enter the Sacre Coeur Basilica.
Visit Espace Dali Montmartre, the only permanent exhibit in Paris dedicated entirely to Salvador Dali, the master of surrealism.

Follow your local guide on a walking tour of Chartres including the Cathedral; a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Cathedral is a still place of historical and religious significance for Christian pilgrims.

Board your motor coach and continue on to Chenonceau, best known for its castle.
Discover Château Chenonceau at your own pace; Not only remarkable for its architecture and history but also for the fine quality of its collections and many gardens including a Maze, rebuilt exactly from Catherine de Medicis plans.

Board your motor coach and continue on to Loches. Above the Indre River, the huge Loches castle, famous mostly for its massive square keep, dominates the town of Loches.
Enter the Royal City of Loches and visit its Castle; the whole town is a historical site with steep streets and magnificent views.
