DAY 1: HOME – DUBLIN

Board your transatlantic flight and fly through the night to Ireland.

DAY 2: DUBLIN

Welcome to Ireland! Meet your Prométour Tour Director upon arrival at the airport.

Transfer to your hotel to drop off your luggage, check-in will be done later.

Meet your local guide tour of Dublin. See O’Connell Street, Parnell Square, the Custom House and the General Port Office which was seized during the 1916 Easter Rising. Then see St-Patrick’s Cathedral built in honor of Ireland’s Patron Saint. Finally, enter Trinity College to see the Book of Kells.

Attend an Irish Soda bread demonstration and learn the history behind this tradition. Get to taste it of course!

DAY 3: DUBLIN – BELFAST

Breakfast at the hotel.

Croke Park has been at the heart of Irish sporting life for over 100 years. From quirky insights into why Croke Park’s grass is always greener to learning about defining moments in Irish history, the passionate tour guides will take you on an inspiring journey around our national stadium. Then access the GAA Museum of Gaelic Sports to have a completely unique story of Gaelic games from ancient times to the present day.

Board your bus and travel to Belfast.

Discover St-George Market – the last surviving Victorian covered market in Belfast with 300 traders, crafters musicians and food vendors.

Enjoy lunch on your own.

With your Tour Director explore the Great Walls of Belfast and the Murals of the Trouble. Learn about the region’s past and present political and religious divisions.

DAY 4: BELFAST – DERRY

Breakfast at the hotel.

Explore the Giant’s Causeway, an area of nearly 40,000 interlocking basalt columns. It the result of an ancient volcanic eruption. The natural reserve is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Board your bus and travel to Derry.

Enjoy lunch on your own.

Join a local guide and learn about the history and culture behind the city of Derry – known for its architecture and a former walled city. Make sure to take a walk on the Peace Bridge.

Discover at your own pace the Derry Guildhall – This is were the elected members of the Derry Council meet. During the Troubles, it was the focus of multiple terror attacks.

DAY 5: DERRY – GALWAY

With 30 buildings and exhibits to explore the Ulster American Folk Park, is the perfect place to immerse yourself in the story of the brave emigrants who made the journey across the Atlantic to America hundreds of years ago. Board a full-scale emigrant ship to experience the conditions faced by many as they set sail for a new life in America.

Have time to explore at your own pace this charming city.

DAY 6: GALWAY – KILLARNEY

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel.

Today you will discover the Cliffs of Moher, considered one of the natural wonders of the world. The Cliffs of Moher visitor center will give you a better idea of this spectacular setting. Embark upon a voyage of discovery by boat along this 8km shoreline.

Welcome to Graggaunowen, Ireland’s Pre-historic Park. Explore the roots of the people, homesteads, animals and artifacts of Celtic ancestors of over 1,000 years ago which have touched and shaped how we live today.

Board your bus and travel to Killarney.

DAY 7: KILLARNEY

Breakfast at the hotel with your group.

Enjoy a Jaunting Car Ride and step back in time to experience Ireland’s most traditional mode of transport.

Embark on a fascinating drive through the magnificent scenery of plunging cliffs and spectacular lakes, between mountains and beaches on our tour of the world-famous Ring of Kerry, Ireland’s most popular scenic drive of 100 miles.

The Kerry Bog Village explores Ireland’s rural history, heritage and lifestyle. Experience the culture, customs and living conditions of people through the famine years, and late 19th century.

At Kissane Sheep Farm, meet the sheep in their natural environment and see skilled Border Collie Dogs at work rounding up the sheep. Learn this tradition is important to the Irish community.

DAY 8: KILLARNEY – DUBLIN
