Day 1: Fly to Spain

Board your transatlantic flight and fly through the night to Spain.

Day 2: Barcelona

Bienvenido a España! Meet your Spanish Prométour Tour Director upon arrival.
Explore the Boqueria – the city’s main food market.
Guided walking tour of Barcelona – see La Rambla, the Church of Santa. Monica, the Academy of Science, Casa Bruno Cuadros and the Colombus Museum.
Meet your host families, then get to know them over dinner followed by overnight accommodation.

Day 3: Barcelona

Breakfast with your host families.
Explore the Gothic Quarter – See the Cathedral de Barcelona and the four columns from the Temple of Augustus.
Visit the Picasso Museum.
Leisure time at La Rambla.
Partake in a 45 min Flamenco dance class.
Return to your host family for dinner and overnight accommodation.

Day 4: Figueres – Cadaqués

Breakfast with your host families.
Excursion to Figueres – the birthplace of Dalí and home to the world. famous Dalí Museum Theatre.
Step inside the surreal world of Salvador Dalí and find a museum like none other.
Leisure time in Cadaqués – one of the most picturesque villages on the Costa Brava.
Visit the village of Port Lligat – where Dalí built his house.
See Cap de Creus – admire the beautiful coastal landscapes.
Return to your host families for overnight accommodation.

Day 5: Barcelona

Breakfast with your host families.
Visit the Sagrada Família – Gaudí’s most famous and persistent work.
Discover Park Güell – a World Heritage Site and an Art Nouveau extravaganza by Antoni Gaudí.
Enter Casa Milà – one the most visited buildings in Barcelona.
Leisure time on Passeig de Gràcia for some shopping time.
Return to your host family for dinner and overnight accommodation.

Day 6: Barcelona

Breakfast with your host families.
Explore Montjuïc – Get there by cable car!
See the Estadi Olímpic de Montjuïc Lluís Companys – originally built for the 1929 Barcelona World Exposition and the main stadium for the 1992 Summer Olympic games.
Visit the Barcelona Aquarium – the largest Mediterranean-themed aquarium in the world.
Return to your host family for dinner and overnight accommodation.

Day 7: Montserrat

Breakfast with your host families.
Excursion to Montserrat – a spectacular beautiful Benedictine monk mountain retreat.
Visit the Santa Maria Monastery where the monks worship Catalonia’s Patron Saint, ”La Moreneta”.
Leisure time to explore Barcelona at your own pace.
Return to your host family for dinner and overnight accommodation.

Day 8: Fly back Home

Enjoy breakfast with your host families.
Transfer to the airport.
Board your transatlantic flight from Barcelona and fly back to home.
