Packing Tips

Here are some packing list ideas to help you get ready before departure. These items are suggestions and can be mixed and matched depending on your destination, time of travel and length of the tour.

BEFORE PACKING

  • Check the up to date weather information online.
  • Use ID tags and place them on all your bags.
  • Make two (2) copies of your travel documents and leave a copy at home and one in your carry-on luggage.

TRAVEL ESSENTIALS

  • Passport and Visa if required for your destination
  • A copy of your final itinerary
  • Addresses & phone number of your accommodations
  • Necessary medicine in original prescription container (if applicable)
  • Glasses or contact lenses (if applicable)
  • Pocket money, Debit or Credit Card
  • Wallet/money belt/neck pouch to securely store your cash.
  • Prométour’s emergency phone number and your Group Leader’s contact information

CLOTHING – The basics

  • Jeans or lightweight pants
